Cyanella alba is a perennial flowering plant and geophyte native to the Northern Cape and Western Cape in South Africa. It is part of the fynbos vegetation and is found on the Bokkeveld escarpment. The species flowers during August, September, and October.

Description

Cyanella alba, known as lady's hand or toe-toe-uintjie, is a member of the genus Cyanella in the family Tecophilaeaceae. It is endemic to the Cape Provinces of South Africa. The plant is adapted to the fynbos biome and is restricted to the Bokkeveld escarpment. It is a perennial geophyte, with flowering occurring in the late winter and early spring months of August through October.
