Helianthus cusickii, also known as Cusick's sunflower, is a species of sunflower native to the western United States. It is found in the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, northern California, and northwestern Nevada.

Description

Helianthus cusickii, a member of the Asteraceae family, is commonly referred to as Cusick's sunflower. This species is native to the western United States, where it occurs in the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, northern California, and northwestern Nevada. The plant was first described in 1886 by Asa Gray. It is also known by the common name turniproot sunflower.
