Stegnosperma cubense, known as Cuban tangle, is a species in the genus Stegnosperma of the family Stegnospermataceae. It was first described by A.Rich. in 1845. This plant is native to several regions in the Caribbean and Central America.
Description
Stegnosperma cubense is a member of the Stegnospermataceae family and is commonly referred to as Cuban tangle. It is found in a range of countries including Costa Rica, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico (Central, Gulf, Northwest, Southeast, Southwest), and Nicaragua, as well as the Archipiélago de Cuba. The species was first published in 1845 by A.Rich.
