Argemone platyceras, known as crested-poppy, is a flowering plant in the Papaveraceae family. It is native to seasonally dry regions of Mexico and has been introduced to Uzbekistan. A cultivar, 'Silver Charm', is known to exist.

Description

Argemone platyceras, or crested-poppy, is a species of flowering plant in the Papaveraceae family. It is indigenous to seasonally dry areas across several regions of Mexico, including Central, Gulf, Northeast, Northwest, and Southwest. The plant has also been introduced to Uzbekistan. A cultivar named 'Silver Charm' has been documented. The species was first described in 1829 by Link & Otto.
