Sagittaria cristata, known as crested arrowhead, is a perennial herb in the Alismataceae family. It grows up to 75 cm in height and is native to regions including Ontario, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, and Wisconsin. The plant was first described in 1883 by Engelm.

Description

Sagittaria cristata features flat, long, and narrow leaves that can reach 40 cm in length and lack lobes. The flowers are white. It is part of the genus Sagittaria and is found in the Nearctic region and globally.
