Crepidiastrum keiskeanum is a glabrous, glaucous, suffrutescent herb in the Asteraceae family, native to Japan. It grows from stout, short rhizomes and has stems that are solitary or several, decumbent, and 10-20 cm tall. The plant produces yellow ligulate flowers from August to December, with 8-13 per head. It is found in Shikoku, Ogasawara-shoto, and Honshu. The species was published in 1920.

Description

Crepidiastrum keiskeanum is a perennial herb with radical and cauline leaves. Radical leaves are spatulate, 3-10 cm long, and shallowly toothed. Cauline leaves are smaller, spatulate, and sessile, with the uppermost being oblong and amplexicaul. The plant forms dense corymbs of heads, 1.5 cm across, with yellow ligulate flowers. The involucre is tubular, 8-9 mm high, and the achenes are 5-ribbed, 2.5-3 mm long. The pappus consists of white, capillary bristles, 5 mm long. Chromosome number is 2n = 10.
