Phlox stolonifera, known as Creeping Phlox, is a perennial herb in the Polemoniaceae family. Native to the eastern United States, it is found in woodlands and along stream banks, particularly in the Appalachian region from Pennsylvania to northern Georgia. It has also naturalized in parts of Québec, Canada.

Description

Phlox stolonifera is a flowering plant species in the genus Phlox, native to the eastern U.S. It thrives in woodland and stream bank habitats, primarily in the Appalachian Mountains region. Its range extends from Pennsylvania south to northern Georgia, and it has become naturalized in Québec. The species was first described by Sims in 1802.
