Description

It has also been introduced and naturalized in various locations such as the Azores, Madagascar, Kenya, Australia, and parts of the Pacific and Indian Oceans. This species was first described in 1823 by G. Lodd. It is known for its cream-colored, fragrant flowers and is often cultivated in gardens for ornamental purposes. The plant is widely distributed in both its native and introduced ranges, including areas like the Garden Route National Park.
