Cotyledon barbeyi

Cotyledon barbeyi is a member of the Crassulaceae family, a group of flowering plants commonly known as stonecrops. This species is part of the genus Cotyledon, which includes succulent plants native to southern Africa. The species was formally described in 1893 by Schweinf. ex Baker, based on earlier work by Schweinfurth. It is characterized by its fleshy leaves and compact growth habit typical of the genus. As with other members of the Crassulaceae family, it is adapted to arid or semi-arid environments and exhibits features that aid in water conservation.
