Arctium tomentosum, known as Cotton Burdock, is a species in the Asteraceae family. It was first described by Mill. in 1768 and is found in regions including Greenland, Newfoundland, Alberta, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Northwest Territories, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Saskatchewan, FI, SE, RU, NO, UZ, KG, Flanders, Bulgaria, and the Czech Republic.

Description

Arctium tomentosum is a member of the genus Arctium in the Asteraceae family. It is commonly referred to as Cotton Burdock and is native to a wide range of regions in North America and Europe. The species was published in 1768 and is characterized by its woolly or downy appearance, as suggested by its alternative common names, Woolly Burdock and Downy Burdock.
