Costus productus is a plant species in the Costaceae family, native to South Colombia and Peru. It is commonly known as orange tulip ginger, dwarf orange ginger, or green mountain spiral flag.

Description

Costus productus (Gleason ex Maas) is a member of the genus Costus and is distributed in the regions of Putumayo, Colombia, and Peru. This species was first described in 1976. It belongs to the Costaceae family and is recognized by its common names, which include orange tulip ginger, dwarf orange ginger, and green mountain spiral flag.
