Costus erythrocoryne is a species in the genus Costus, belonging to the family Costaceae. It was first described by K.Schum. in 1904. This plant is native to regions in South America, including the Parque Nacional Natural de Amacayacu in Amazonas, Colombia, as well as Ecuador, Peru, and Leticia.

Description

Costus erythrocoryne is a member of the Costaceae family and is part of the genus Costus. It was scientifically documented by K.Schum. in 1904. The species occurs in the Amazon basin, with known populations in the Parque Nacional Natural de Amacayacu in Amazonas, Colombia, as well as in Ecuador, Peru, and the area around Leticia. Its geographic range is primarily within the tropical regions of northern South America.
