Corytoplectus schlimii is a species in the Gesneriaceae family, native to regions in Colombia, Ecuador, and Venezuela. It was first described in 1973 and is part of the Corytoplectus genus.

Description

Corytoplectus schlimii, described in 1973, is a member of the Gesneriaceae family and the Corytoplectus genus. Its distribution spans several regions in Colombia, including Boyacá, Santa María, Parque Nacional Natural Sierra de la Macarena, Tona, Caquetá, Cundinamarca, Magdalena, Meta, and Santander, as well as Villavicencio. It is also found in Ecuador and Venezuela. This species is part of the Gesneriaceae, a family of flowering plants commonly known as the African violet family.
