Mentha requienii, known as Corsican Mint, is a low-growing mint species native to Corsica, Sardinia, and Montecristo Island, and has been naturalized in Portugal and the British Isles. It was first described in 1833 by Benth.

Description

Mentha requienii is a member of the Lamiaceae family and is characterized by its bright green leaves and strong minty aroma. It is found in regions such as British Columbia, Portugal, Ireland, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Great Britain, and the Channel Islands, as well as globally. The plant is native to the Mediterranean islands and has spread to other parts of Europe. It is a low-growing herb that is part of the Mentha genus.
