Coprosma huttoniana is a species in the genus Coprosma, family Rubiaceae, native to Norfolk Island. It was named in honor of Ian Hutton, a naturalist from Lord Howe Island who discovered and identified the species as new.

Description

Coprosma huttoniana, described by P.S. Green in 1990, is a flowering plant belonging to the Rubiaceae family. This species is endemic to Norfolk Island. The name of the species was given to recognize Ian Hutton, a naturalist based on Lord Howe Island, for his role in discovering and identifying the plant as a new species.
