Coprosma fowerakeri is a species of the genus Coprosma in the family Rubiaceae, native to the South Island of New Zealand. It was formally described in 2003 by D.A. Norton and P.J. de Lange.

Description

This species is endemic to the South Island of New Zealand. Before its formal recognition in 2003, it was grouped under the species C. pseudocuneata. Coprosma fowerakeri belongs to the Rubiaceae family, a large and diverse group of flowering plants commonly known as the coffee family.
