Coprosma ciliata is a shrub in the Rubiaceae family, native to New Zealand. It is found in the South Island from Lake Brunner south to Fiordland, primarily west of the Southern Alps. The plant is commonly associated with lowland forest habitats, especially near streams, swamps, and lakes.

Description

Coprosma ciliata, described by Hook.f. in 1844, is a member of the genus Coprosma within the Rubiaceae family. It is endemic to New Zealand, with its distribution limited to the South Island. The species is typically found in lowland forest environments, where it thrives in moist areas such as along streams, swamps, and lakes. Its range extends from Lake Brunner southward into Fiordland, predominantly west of the Southern Alps.
