Description
Coprosma arborea, described by Kirk in 1878, belongs to the genus Coprosma in the Rubiaceae family. This species is indigenous to the North Island of New Zealand. The flowers are adapted for wind pollination, lacking showy petals but featuring elongated anthers and stigmas. The plant produces a fleshy, non-poisonous berry containing two seeds.
