Description

Conostylis teretiuscula, described by F.Muell. in 1873, is a grass-like herb belonging to the Haemodoraceae family. This species is endemic to the south-western region of Western Australia. It is characterized by its rhizomatous growth habit and tufted appearance. The plant has flat leaves and produces yellow, tube-shaped flowers. The genus Conostylis is part of the Haemodoraceae, a family commonly known as the bloodwort family.
