Trillium simile, commonly known as Confusing Trillium, is a flowering plant in the Melanthiaceae family. It is native to the southeastern United States and was first described in 1906 by Gleason. The species is also referred to as sweet white wake-robin and sweet white trillium.

Description

Trillium simile is a member of the genus Trillium and is found in the states of Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee. It is a flowering plant that belongs to the Melanthiaceae family, which is known as the birthwort family in English. The plant is known by several common names, including Confusing Trillium, sweet white wake-robin, and sweet white trillium. Its scientific name was published in 1906 by Gleason.
