Conchocarpus heterophyllus is a species in the Rutaceae family, native to Brazil (Northeast and Southeast regions), Suriname, and Venezuela. It was first described in 1998 by Kallunki and Pirani.

Description

Conchocarpus heterophyllus belongs to the Rutaceae family, commonly known as the rue or citrus family. The species is found in the northeastern and southeastern regions of Brazil, as well as in Suriname and Venezuela. It was formally described in 1998 by Kallunki and Pirani, based on earlier work by A.St.-Hil. This species is part of the genus Conchocarpus, which includes several other species within the same geographic range.
