Common Starwort

It is widely distributed across North America, including areas like Manitoba, New Brunswick, and Quebec, as well as in regions of Europe such as Portugal, Denmark, Finland, and Corsica. The plant is characterized by its small, star-shaped flowers and grass-like leaves. It is part of the Caryophyllaceae family, which includes other flowering plants commonly known as carnations or carnation family members.
