Euthamia graminifolia (L.) Nutt. is a species in the Asteraceae family, commonly known as Common Goldentop. It is native to North America and parts of Europe, including regions in Canada, the United States, and several European countries. The plant was first published in 1840.

Description

Euthamia graminifolia, also referred to as grass-leaved goldenrod or flat-top goldenrod, is a member of the Asteraceae family. It is distributed across Newfoundland, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Northwest Territories, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Saskatchewan, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, as well as in Belgium, Flemish Region, Walloon Region, Italy, Sweden, Vermont (U.S.), the Czech Republic, and Poland. The species was first described in 1840. John Torrey and Asa Gray later revised the name. A discussion in botanical literature notes that Gray examined material from Linnaeus but did not formally designate a type specimen.
