Myosotis arvensis, known as Common Forget-Me-Not, is a flowering plant in the family Boraginaceae. It is native to Europe, Turkey, the Caucasus, Siberia, the western Himalayas, and northwestern Africa. The plant is annual to short-lived perennial, growing up to 40 centimetres tall. It has grey-blue flowers, 3–5 millimetres in diameter, and produces dark brown, shiny nutlets. It is common in the British Isles, growing on open, well-drained ground.

Description

Myosotis arvensis is an erect, herbaceous plant with patent-hairy stems. Its flowers are saucer-shaped with a sepal tube that has hooked hairs. The plant is found in various regions, including Greenland, Newfoundland, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Saskatchewan, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Faial Island, São Miguel Island, Madeira Island, FI, NO, SE, TW, and RU. It was first described in 1764.
