Tofieldia pusilla (Michx.) Pers. is a member of the Tofieldiaceae, though it has occasionally been classified within the Liliaceae. It is found in regions including Greenland, Labrador, Newfoundland, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Ontario, Quebec, Saskatchewan, Yukon, the northern United States, SE, IS, NO, GL, Alaska, Austria, Buryatiya, and Chita. Its common names include common false asphodel, Scottish asphodel, and Scotch false asphodel. The species has a circumpolar range and is native to northern North America and parts of Eurasia.
