Protea welwitschii, a shrub or small tree in the Proteaceae family, is native to various regions in Africa, including Angola, Burundi, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zaïre, and Zimbabwe. It is commonly known as Cluster-head Protea and was first described in 1892.

Description

Protea welwitschii is a member of the Proteaceae family and is found in bushveld and grassland habitats. It is distributed across several African countries, including Angola, Burundi, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zaïre, and Zimbabwe. The species is part of the Protea genus and was published in 1892.
