Floscopa scandens is a subscandent herb in the Commelinaceae family, commonly known as climbing flower cup. It is native to regions including the Andaman Islands, Assam, Bangladesh, Borneo, Cambodia, China, East Himalaya, India, Java, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, the Nicobar Islands, the Philippines, Queensland, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Tibet, and Vietnam.

Description

Floscopa scandens is a species of flowering plant in the family Commelinaceae. It is known as climbing flower cup and is a subscandent herb. The plant is native to a wide range of regions including the Andaman Islands, Assam, Bangladesh, Borneo, Cambodia, China, East Himalaya, India, Java, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, the Nicobar Islands, the Philippines, Queensland, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Tibet, and Vietnam. It was first described in 1790 by Lour.
