Citrus glauca (Lindl.) Burkill is a species in the genus Citrus, family Rutaceae, native to Queensland, New South Wales, and South Australia. Commonly known as the desert lime, it is a thorny shrub or small tree. It has also been referred to as native kumquat and desert lemon.

Description

Citrus glauca is a thorny shrub or small tree found in the arid regions of eastern and central Australia. It belongs to the Rutaceae family, known as the rue or citrus family. The species was first described in 1889 and later reclassified in 1932 by Burkill. It is known by several common names, including desert lime, native kumquat, and desert lemon. The plant is adapted to dry environments and is part of the native flora of Australia.
