Cissampelos capensis

Cissampelos capensis is a member of the Menispermaceae family, a group of flowering plants commonly known as the moonseed family. This species is found in the Cape Provinces and Namibia. The scientific name was first published in 1782 by L.f. The genus Cissampelos includes several species known for their climbing or trailing growth habits and are often found in tropical and subtropical regions.
