Cinnamosma fragrans is a flowering plant species in the family Canellaceae. It is endemic to Madagascar, where it is known as saro. The species was first described in 1867 by Baill.

Cinnamosma fragrans belongs to the genus Cinnamosma and is part of the Canellaceae family. This species is native to Madagascar and is not found naturally outside of this region. It is recognized locally under the name saro. The scientific name was published in 1867 by Baill.
