Chondrilla chondrilloides is a perennial herb in the Asteraceae family, native to parts of southern and central Europe. It grows 10–35 cm tall and is glabrous or subglabrous. The plant has rosette leaves that are narrowly obovate, linear, or narrowly elliptic, with a glaucous surface. It produces 1–5 flowering stems and has a synflorescence with many heads. The involucre measures 8.0–11.0 mm in length and 3.5–5.0 mm in diameter, with linear or linear-ovate bracts. The corolla is ligulate, and the achenes are 5.0–6.0 mm long with a beak slightly shorter than the corpus.

Description

Chondrilla chondrilloides is a herbaceous perennial in the Asteraceae family, found in Corse, Italy, Germany, Liechtenstein, Romania, Austria, France, Switzerland, Slovenia, and Yugoslavia. The plant reaches heights of 10–35 cm and is glabrous or subglabrous. Rosette leaves are narrowly obovate, linear, or narrowly elliptic, measuring 2.0–7.0 cm in length and 0.3–0.9 cm in width. They are entire or dentate, with a petiole-like base and a glaucous surface on both sides. Cauline leaves are few, linear, narrowly obovate, or narrowly elliptic, with similar characteristics to the rosette leaves. The synflorescence consists of many heads with an involucre 8.0–11.0 mm long and 3.5–5.0 mm in diameter. Involucral bracts are linear or linear-ovate and obtuse. The corolla is ligulate, and the achenes are 5.0–6.0 mm long, with a beak slightly shorter than the corpus.
