Protea enervis, known as the Chimanimani Sugarbush, is a flowering shrub native to the Chimanimani Mountains in Zimbabwe and Mozambique. It is found at altitudes between 1,680 and 2,000 metres.

Description

Protea enervis belongs to the genus Protea in the family Proteaceae. This species is distributed across the high-altitude regions of the Chimanimani Mountains, which lie between Zimbabwe and Mozambique. The plant was first described in 1956 by botanist Wild. It is adapted to the specific environmental conditions of its mountainous habitat.
