Petrorhagia prolifera (L.) P.W.Ball & Heywood is a species in the Caryophyllaceae family, commonly known as Childing pink. It is native to regions including British Columbia, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Bulgaria, and parts of South Africa such as the Agulhas National Park and Augrabies Falls National Park. The species has also been recorded in Japan, Norway, Denmark, and the Valparaíso Region in Chile.

Description

Petrorhagia prolifera is a member of the Caryophyllaceae family and is known by the common name Childing pink. It is found in various locations across Europe, North America, and parts of South Africa, including protected areas like Bontebok National Park. The species was formally described in 1964.
