Protea glabra, known as the Chestnut Sugarbush, is a flowering shrub in the Proteaceae family. It is native to the Cape Provinces and was first described in 1781 by Thunb.

Description

Protea glabra is a member of the Protea genus and is commonly referred to as the Chestnut Sugarbush. It is distributed globally but originates from the Cape Provinces. This species was published in 1781 by Carl Thunberg. It is part of the Proteaceae family, a group of flowering plants primarily found in the Southern Hemisphere.
