Chaerophyllum elegans is a flowering plant species in the Apiaceae family, native to the Alps in Austria, France, Italy, and Switzerland. It was first described by Gaudin in 1828.

Description

Chaerophyllum elegans is a member of the Apiaceae family and is found in the Alpine regions of Austria, France, Italy, and Switzerland. It is known by several vernacular names, including 'chérophylle élégant' in French, 'Alpen-Kälberkropf' and 'Schönkälberkropf' in German, and 'cerfoglio elegante' in Italian. The species was first published in 1828 by Gaudin.
