Centrosema schottii (Millsp.) K.Schum. is a species in the genus Centrosema, belonging to the family Fabaceae. It is native to regions in South and Central America, including Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Honduras, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, and Venezuela.

Description

Centrosema schottii is a member of the Fabaceae family, a large and economically important plant family. The species is distributed across several countries in the Neotropical region, spanning from Mexico to Argentina. It is found in various parts of Brazil, including the Northeast, Southeast, and West-Central regions, as well as in the states of Bolívar and Sucre in Venezuela. The species was first described in 1900 and is part of the Centrosema genus, which includes several other leguminous species.
