Celtis philippensis is a tree species in the Cannabaceae family, native to regions spanning from India and Sri Lanka to southern China, Taiwan, the Philippines, New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, and northern Australia. It can reach heights of up to 30 metres.
Description
Celtis philippensis, described by Blanco in 1837, is a member of the genus Celtis. It is distributed across tropical and subtropical areas including the Andaman Islands, Bismarck Archipelago, Borneo, China (South-Central and Southeast), Hainan, India, Java, Laos, the Lesser Sunda Islands, Malaya, Maluku, Myanmar, New Guinea, the Northern Territory, the Philippines, Queensland, and the Solomon Islands.
