Phyllocladus toatoa, known as Celery-top Pine or toatoa in Māori, is a conifer in the Podocarpaceae family. It is native to New Zealand and was previously classified as P. glaucus. The species was formally described in 1996.

Description

Phyllocladus toatoa is a conifer species belonging to the Podocarpaceae family. It is endemic to New Zealand, specifically found in the North Island. The plant is commonly called Celery-top Pine in English and toatoa in Māori. It was previously known as Phyllocladus glaucus before being reclassified. The species was officially published in 1996 by Molloy.
