Cecropia gabrielis is a species in the genus Cecropia, belonging to the family Urticaceae. It was first described in 1956 by Cuatrec. and is native to parts of Colombia and Ecuador, specifically found in the regions of Antioquia, Nariño, and Valle.

Description

Cecropia gabrielis is a member of the Urticaceae family, commonly known as the nettle family. This species is part of the genus Cecropia, which is characterized by its rapid growth and association with ants in a mutualistic relationship.
