Conocephalum salebrosum is a liverwort species in the family Conocephalaceae, known as cat-tongue liverwort. It has a holarctic distribution and was first described in 2005 by Szweyk., Buczk., and Odrzyk.

Description

Conocephalum salebrosum is a non-vascular land plant found in regions including Québec, Labrador, São Jorge Island, Vermont in the United States, Norway, Denmark, and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. It is also referred to by other common names such as snakewort, snakeskin liverwort, mushroom-headed liverwort, and great scented liverwort. The species belongs to the genus Conocephalum and is part of the Conocephalaceae family.
