Spiranthes casei, known as Case's Ladies' Tresses, is an orchid species found in the northeastern United States and Canada. It is part of the Orchidaceae family and was first described in 1975 by Catling and Cruise.

Description

Spiranthes casei is a member of the genus Spiranthes within the Orchidaceae family. It is native to regions including Vermont, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New York, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Pennsylvania, Québec, and Wisconsin. This orchid species is also found globally, though primarily in the specified northeastern areas. The plant is commonly referred to as Case's Ladies' Tresses in both English and the target language.
