Carpinus viminea is a species in the genus Carpinus, belonging to the family Betulaceae. It was first described in 1830 by Lindl. ex Wall. and is native to regions including Assam, Bangladesh, China (North-Central and South-Central), East Himalaya, Korea, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, Tibet, Vietnam, and West Himalaya.

Description

Carpinus viminea is a member of the Betulaceae family, a group of deciduous trees and shrubs. It is found across a range of East and Southeast Asian countries, including Assam, Bangladesh, China (North-Central and South-Central), East Himalaya, Korea, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, Tibet, Vietnam, and West Himalaya. The species was formally described in 1830 by Lindl. ex Wall. and is part of the Carpinus genus, which includes various species of hornbeams and related trees.
