Nemesia fruticans (Thunb.) Benth., commonly known as Cape snapdragon, is a member of the Scrophulariaceae family. It is native to regions including Botswana, the Cape Provinces, Free State, Namibia, Northern Provinces, and Zimbabwe, with historical records in Great Britain. First published in 1836, it is part of the Nemesia genus.

Description

Nemesia fruticans (Thunb.) Benth. is a flowering plant species belonging to the Scrophulariaceae family. It is commonly referred to as Cape snapdragon in English. The species is naturally distributed across several African regions, including Botswana, the Cape Provinces, Free State, Namibia, Northern Provinces, and Zimbabwe. It has also been recorded in Great Britain. The species was first formally described in 1836 and is classified within the genus Nemesia.
