Leucadendron argenteum, known as the Cape Silver Tree, is a plant species in the family Proteaceae. It is native to the Cape Peninsula in South Africa and is found primarily in and around Cape Town, with smaller populations near Somerset West, Paarl, and Stellenbosch. The species was published in 1810 and is currently classified as endangered. It is protected under South African law.
