Description

Spiranthes delitescens, described by Sheviak in 1990, is a rare orchid species native to Arizona. It is known from only four occurrences, all within the state. The plant is part of the Orchidaceae family and is commonly referred to as Canelo Hills lady's tresses. Due to the limited number of known populations and threats to its habitat, the species is classified as federally endangered in the United States.
