Cylindropuntia kleiniae (DC.) F.M.Knuth, known as candle cholla, is a species in the Cactaceae family. It is native to regions in Middle America and North America, including Mexico Central, Mexico Gulf, Mexico Northeast, Mexico Northwest, New Mexico, Spain, Texas, and parts of IT and AU. The species was first described in 1936.

Description

Cylindropuntia kleiniae is a cactus species that occurs in multiple regions across North and Middle America. Its distribution includes Mexico's central, gulf, northeastern, and northwestern areas, as well as the U.S. states of New Mexico and Texas. It is also found in Spain, along with parts of IT and AU. The plant is part of the Cactaceae family and is commonly referred to as candle cholla in English. The species was formally published in 1936.
