Canada Frostweed

Crocanthemum canadense is a plant species belonging to the genus Crocanthemum within the Cistaceae family. It is commonly referred to as Canada Frostweed in English. This species is naturally distributed across several regions in North America, including parts of Canada and the United States, as well as northern and northwestern regions of Mexico. Its wide range includes Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec, Vermont, Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mexico Northeast, Mexico Northwest, Michigan, and Minnesota. The scientific name was first published in 1913.
