Calystegia tuguriorum is a perennial vine in the Convolvulaceae family, commonly known as New Zealand bindweed, pōuwhiwhi, or pōwhiwhi. It is native to coastal and lowland regions of New Zealand, as well as Chile and the Juan Fernández Islands.

Description

Calystegia tuguriorum (G.Forst.) R.Br. ex Hook.f. is a species of morning glory in the Convolvulaceae family. It is a perennial vine found in coastal and lowland habitats. The plant is native to New Zealand, where it is referred to as pōuwhiwhi or pōwhiwhi. It also occurs in Chile and on the Juan Fernández Islands. The species was first described in 1853.
