Calycera crassifolia

Calycera crassifolia is a member of the Calyceraceae family, a group of flowering plants primarily found in South America. The species is distributed across several regions, including the Northeast, Northwest, and South of Argentina, as well as the South of Brazil and Uruguay. This plant is part of the genus Calycera, which is characterized by specific morphological traits typical of the Calyceraceae family. The scientific name was published in 1916 by Hicken, based on earlier work by Miers.
