Calochortus syntrophus is a species in the Liliaceae family, known as Callahan's mariposa lily. It is native to northern California, occurring in Shasta and Tehama counties. This plant is found in open, rocky areas with moist or wet soils within oak woodlands. It was first discovered in 1993 and described in 1994.

Description

Calochortus syntrophus, named after Callahan, is a flowering plant in the lily family. It is endemic to a remote region north of Montgomery Creek in Shasta County, California, with additional sightings in Tehama County. The species thrives in open, rocky habitats with moist or wet soils within oak woodlands. First discovered in 1993, it was formally described and published in 1994.
